Overview

MobileNet Services is seeking an enthusiastic wireless construction manager to join an industry leader in wireless engineering.   With over 20 years of unrivaled RF Engineering Services, MobileNet is expanding our offerings to include installation and construction. 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the daily oversight of in-house and contracted GCs during the course of telecommunications construction projects.
  • Ensures timelines are met, oversees and manages production, quality and deliverables.
  • Ensures safety practices are maintained on the job site and reviews GC’s job safety analysis (JSA) forms. 
  • Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of civil and telecom construction in DAS, small cells and/or macro workspace.
  • Must be competent in reading CDs and possess strong skills in project scoping, assess project conditions and develop contingency plans as required.
  • Experience or strong knowledge in electrical systems and DC power plants.
  • Technical knowledge in current wireless infrastructure such as 4G, 5G, RF sweep and PIM requirements, fiber installation best practices and carrier-specific cabling schemes.
  • Candidate must be a good communicator and effective in personal time management.
  • Candidate must provide accurate and timely updates to the Director of Construction.
  • A high level of professionalism must be portrayed at all times.

Job Duties:

  • Review and redline CDs.
  • Perform bid walks.
  • Develop Scopes of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Submit permit applications and procure as needed.
  • Dimension crews and forecast project durations.
  • Manage crew schedules.
  • Manage multiple crews and multiple projects.
  • First level point of contact for customers and field crews.
  • Travel to projects as required (West Coast Region).

Mandatory Job Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors in a Technical/ Professional area.
  • Strong communications skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office & MS-Project preferred.
  • Minimum OSHA10 training.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Must have a valid California’s driver’s license.
  • No DUI’s or major moving violations in the last 10 years and no more than 2 minor traffic violations in the last 3 years,
  • Must speak and write fluently in English.
  • Candidates must be legal residents or authorized to work in the US for any employer.
  • Work flexible hours and support night or weekend work as required.
